Are you ever doing something totally unrelated, like driving down the street, when a scene from a book pops into your head? It seems that when my mind wanders it likes to do that.
It generally makes me want to reread the scene, if not the whole book. Sigh. If only there was more time for rereading.

I have scenes from books pop into my head if a song comes on that I was listening to while I read it. It doesn’t happen often but it’s weird because I get the same mental picture that I had of the book scene at the time.

Just this week a joke from a non-fiction book I was reading popped into my head at a totally unrelated time. How embarrassing to smirk inappropriately, but oh well, couldn’t help myself!
