i'm wondering what made them choose these particular books. was there an explanation? i'm surprised at my own - i think i've read about the same as you, and i'm pretty well-read. i'd better get cracking! lol.

I couldn't resist doing the list for myself. I've read a surprising amount of them. Also, wondering why a few are classics!

I have been meaning to read Stephen King's book 'On Writing'. I will have to get to it one of these days! I was reading this through bloglines and for whatever reason the lines weren't showing up, so I was looking at the list and it looked like you hadn't read any of them, so I was trying to figure out why you did the meme if you weren't going to cross anything out. lol

This is fun! I have read 20 of them and loved all of them, except The Corrections, which I couldn't finish. And SM - how can you love YA and not have read Holes?!! It is fantastic - so much better than the movie.
There are a bunch of these that I own and haven't read, too (some because they are my spouse's all time favourites, some were given to me and some I bought but have never read). And I have read the Da Vinci Code - my book club chose it. You really aren't missing much.
